As the Vikings prepare for Monday night's Week 10 game with the Packers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, here's a look at a handful of eye-opening figures and facts.

3-7
Record of the road teams on "Monday Night Football" this season, a troubling trend for a Vikings squad that heads to Lambeau Field as a two-touchdown underdog. The Bears' 30-24 upset win in Philadelphia this week snapped a seven-game skid by road teams on Monday night dating back to Week 1 when New England won at Miami and Oakland won in Denver. Last season, road teams fared far better on Monday nights, posting an 11-6 mark. That did not include the Giants' 21-3 win over the Vikings in Week 14, a contest that was moved from Minneapolis to Detroit after the collapse of the roof at Metrodome/Mall of America Field.

NFL running backs on pace to rush for more than 1,500 yards this season. That includes Vikings star Adrian Peterson, who at the midway point of the season has rushed for 798 yards and nine touchdowns. Other backs with at least 750 rushing yards through eight games: Philadelphia's LeSean McCoy (825), Chicago's Matt Forte (805), Buffalo's Fred Jackson (803) and San Francisco's Frank Gore (782). Who said this was now a passing-only league? Over the previous four seasons combined, only five backs have surpassed 1,500 yards in a season: Houston's Arian Foster in 2010; Tennessee's Chris Johnson in 2009; and Peterson, Atlanta's Michael Turner and Carolina's DeAngelo Williams in 2008.

129.1
Aaron Rodgers' quarterback rating this season. Yep, it keeps going up. In Sunday's road win over San Diego, Rodgers posted a rating of 145.8. He was 21-for-26 in the game, throwing for 247 yards and four touchdowns. Each of Rodgers' scoring throws went to a different receiver. He is on pace to shatter the single-season record for quarterback rating set by Peyton Manning (121.1) in 2004. A distant second in quarterback rating this season: New Orleans' Drew Brees (100.6).

34.4
Points per game posted by the Packers this season, another stat that spiked after Sunday's 45-38 win over the Chargers. Through eight games, only the Rams have succeeded in holding the Packers to fewer than 25 points. Green Bay won that contest 24-3 in Week 6 and leads the NFL in scoring. The Vikings meanwhile are averaging 21.5 points per game, 20th best in the NFL.

281
Passing yards per game allowed by the Vikings in the four games that veteran cornerback Antoine Winfield missed with a neck injury. In that span, the Vikings secondary allowed eight touchdown passes, while coming up with three interceptions. All three of those picks came in a Week 5 home blowout of Arizona. Barring any unforeseen setbacks this week, Winfield has promised to return to action Monday night at Lambeau Field.
