I cover a strange team.

Walked into the clubhouse this morning, and blues music was blaring over the sound system. Don't get me wrong, I like blues music, and the song in question was off the excellent Eric Clapton-Steve Winwood album. But it seemed strange for baseball clubhouse.

But then someone walked out of the weight room, and someone had reggae music blaring in there. A strange music combo.

At least Rick Aguilera is here. Yes, the former closer is in camp for about a week and a half as a special instructor. He's taking it easy in the San Diego area these days. He was coaching baseball because his son played, but his son has switched to lacrosse.

The Marlins are in town, and Dee Gordon is leading off. Wonder if he's going to get together his brother Nick, the Twins' shortstop prospect.

Follow the Twins-Miami boxscore here.

I counted eight players of significance who have yet to draw a walk this spring. It includes Danny Santana, who leads the team with 23 at bats. Hitters are getting their timing down at the plate, but that hasn't stopped someone like Miguel Sano from drawing five walks.

One more thing: Twins GM Terry Ryan was asked before the game if the organization still views Jorge Polanco as a shortstop. ``Depends on who you ask," Ryan said. Hmmmm.
