On the amount of cornerbacks the Vikings selected on Day 3

"There will be competition whether we know it or not. I am ready to step up to the challenge. I believe the Vikings selected me because they feel I am a fierce competitor, and they are right. I haven't spoken a lot to the Vikings throughout the process, and they obviously took time to invest in me and bring me in to compete for a job. I have to cherish that and give them my all."

On if head coach Mike Zimmer's aggressive defense plays into one of his strengths

"It definitely plays into my strengths. As my tape shows, I am very physical and fierce competitor. I don't believe in corners that don't know how to tackle. I like to step out of my comfort zone and go above and beyond expectations. I think that is what Coach Zimmer saw in my game and saw it in my personality. He is absolutely correct because I always go above and beyond what is asked for and rise to the challenge every time I get a chance."

On facing Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson and Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall twice a year

I am going to rise to the challenge. I don't shy away from competition. I know that they are veterans and they have been doing this for a while, but I am a competitor. I compete in everything I do. I compete in everything and anything that I do. I will definitely rise to the challenge when my number is called.
