MANKATO -- The Vikings agreed to terms with running back Toby Gerhart on a four-year, $3.767 million deal on Friday afternoon, according to NFL sources. Gerhart's deal is worth $1.939 million guaranteed.

Gerhart is the final of the VIkings' eight draft picks to come to terms. The deal got done about three hours before the Vikings first practice of training camp and Gerhart is expected to be on the field this afternoon.

The Vikings traded up in the second round with Houston so they could select Gerhart with the 51st pick overall. He was the runner-up for the Heisman trophy last season at Stanford and will be expected to serve as Adrian Peterson's top backup.

Gerhart rushed for a nation-high 28 touchdowns as a senior at Stanford and received the Doak Walker Award as the top running back in college football.
