Catch and release is a great and necessary angling concept. But some fish are meant to be filleted and eaten, either immediately or later. Best in the second instance to have a vacuum sealer at your disposal to ensure that walleyes, bluegills or other fish are preserved properly. The least expensive among these costs less than $50. More durable, perhaps, are models running twice that or marginally more. For the fish eater, the payback is immediate, and continual.
