Looks like Garrison Keillor wants to make Sunday a day of rest. His weekly syndicated column, which runs regularly in the Star Tribune's Opinion section on Sundays, will go into hiatus so he can finish a screenplay and start writing a novel, according to Tribune Media Services, which distributes his work.

There was no mention of when Keillor might return.. HIs final column, at least for now, runs this Sunday and its entitled "A Parent's Prayer." It makes no reference to his temporary(?) departure.

TMS says they will offer a new package of commentary called "American Voices," a collection from four high-profile columnists: Former Sec. of Labor Robert Reich, Atlantic senior editor editor Ta-Nehisi Coates, Pulitzer-Prize winning author Joel Brinkley and GQ's Ana Marie Cox.
