Gander Mountain is opening a specialty store focusing on firearms and ammunition in Rogers this month, going head-to-head with a nearby Cabela’s store.
Called a Firearms Super Center, Gander says it is a new concept that will include new and used firearms, firearms accessories, specialty apparel, ammunition and security. Construction on an existing 30,000-square-foot building near the intersection of I-94 and Hwy. 101 is occurring now, and the store is expected to open later in April.
“Gander Mountain is already recognized as the firearms experts, but with our latest Gander Mtn. Firearms Super Center we are taking the experience of shopping for firearms and accessories to an entirely new level of selection and service,” David Pratt, CEO of Gander Mountain, said in a news release.
