Wolves to face rested Pelicans

Preview: The Wolves have lost 10 of their past 13 games against the Pelicans, but they won the season's first matchup, 104-98, in New Orleans Nov. 1. The Wolves will be playing on the back end of back-to-back games. The Pelicans, meanwhile have had three days off since losing at Golden State Saturday night.

Players to watch: Wolves G Jimmy Butler had 23 points, including a tie-breaking three-pointer with 34.2 seconds left in the Nov. 1 win. C Karl-Anthony Towns was held to two points and five rebounds in that game. Pelicans PF Anthony Davis has averaged 34.8 points and 11.0 rebounds in his past four games vs. Minnesota. C DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 25 points and 12.6 rebounds through 20 games. PG Jrue Holiday is averaging 15.1 points and 5.7 assists.

Numbers: The Pelicans have rallied from 19-point deficits to win twice this season.

Injuries: Wolves C Justin Patton (foot) is out. G Jeff Teague (right Achilles) and F Nemanja Bjelica (left mid-foot sprain) are questionable. Pelicans C Alexis Ajinca (right knee), F Solomon Hill (left hamstring) and G Frank Jackson (right foot) are out.
