Preview: Having broken a four-game losing streak with a 99-95 victory over Sacramento on Friday, the Timberwolves will try for their first winning streak since late November. The Wolves are 8-4 in their past 12 games vs. the Nets, who are on a four-game losing streak and have lost three in a row at home. It will be Kevin Garnett's return to Brooklyn after the Nets traded him back to the Wolves in February for Thaddeus Young.

Players to watch: Wolves G/F Andrew Wiggins celebrated his return to shooting guard with 32 points, 10 rebounds and six assists Friday. It was his fourth 30-point game of the season and the eighth of his career. Shabazz Muhammad's 16 points matched a season high. For the Nets, Young is coming off a 14-point, 14-rebound game vs. Indiana. C Brook Lopez is averaging 19.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.

Numbers: Wiggins is the youngest player in Wolves history to record 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a game. … The Wolves' 19-rebound edge Friday was their largest this season, and their biggest since outrebounding the Lakers by 23 in March 2014. … After struggling on defense for a spell, the Wolves' victory Friday came in large part because the Kings were held to 33.3 percent shooting in the fourth quarter.

Injuries: Wolves C Nikola Pekovic (Achilles' surgery) is out. Nets G Shane Larkin (concussion), F Sergey Karasev (left ankle), F Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (right ankle) and F Chris McCullough (right knee) are out.
