6 P.M. VS. WOFFORD • WILLIAMS ARENA • BTN, 1500-AM

Gophers at a glance: Minnesota won its fourth game Tuesday, but did so in maybe its ugliest game yet, allowing Coastal Carolina to hit nine (of 20) three-pointers and shoot 51.9 percent from the field. But the worst of it was losing forward Joey King, who collided with Andre Hollins in the second half and fractured his jaw. King will be out Thursday, a problematic scenario for the Gophers' frontcourt, which was already extremely thin with center Mo Walker — who will be serving the fifth game of a six-game suspension — out as well. Minnesota is down to only two frontcourt players getting meaningful minutes in 6-11 center Elliott Eliason and 6-8 forward Oto Osenieks.

Wofford at a glance: The 1-2 Terriers should be in for yet another challenge at Williams Arena. In Wofford's last game, against Iona, the Terriers shot 50 percent from the field in the first half but were picked apart on defense, with Iona connecting on 68 percent of their shots in the second half in the 76-55 loss. Guard Spencer Collins leads the team with 16.7 points per game and forward Lee Skinner averages seven points and eight rebounds. Wofford is shooting 28.8 percent from three-point range, but allowing opponents to make 32.7 percent. The Terriers average 30.3 rebounds per game while allowing 40.3.
