Lynx update: The Lynx have won two in a row and four of their past five despite playing without G Seimone Augustus, who will miss her sixth straight game. The biggest reasons? Maya Moore and Lindsay Whalen. Moore has scored 30 or more in two consecutive games and is averaging 27.3 points in four July games. Whalen was one rebound short of a triple-double in Tulsa (21 points, 10 assists, nine rebounds) and was one rebound short of a double-double Tuesday vs. L.A. … The Lynx are 1-2 vs. Seattle this season, shooting a combined 41.7 percent.

Storm update: The Storm is 4-4 in its past eight games but is coming off a 19-point victory Friday at San Antonio. … F Camille Little has averaged 16.0 points in three games vs. Minnesota. … The Storm is a half-game behind Los Angeles for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
