Gameday preview: New Jersey at Wild

Preview: The Wild (7-4-3) has won four of its past five games and has only one loss at Xcel this season. It will take a 5-1-2 home record into Sunday's game against the Devils, who stumbled out of the gate with an 0-4-3 record. New Jersey (3-5-4) earned its first consecutive victories of the season in its final two games of October.

Players to watch: Wild RW Jason Pominville extended his goal streak to three games with two goals and an assist in Friday's victory over Montreal; his nine goals are tied for fourth in the NHL. Devils D Marek Zidlicky, who played for the Wild from 2008-2012, is tied for ninth in scoring among NHL defensemen with a goal and eight assists.

Numbers: The Devils' four overtime games are the most in the NHL. They are 1-5-2 on the road. … Despite going 0-1 on the power play Friday, the Wild's 13 power-play goals remain tied for the most in the NHL.

Injuries: Wild LW Mike Rupp (knee) is out. Devils D Bryce Salvador (foot) and LW Ryane Clowe (head) are out; the status of C Travis Zajac (sprained ankle) and G Cory Schneider (lower body) is uncertain.
