Minnesota united fc gameday

6 p.m. vs. Fort Lauderdale at the National Sports Center, Blaine

Watch: Live on KTSC Ch. 45. There is no webstream available.

Preview: For the first time since 2010, Minnesota will not play for a championship. With both teams out of Soccer Bowl contention, Saturday's match is for pride and finishing strong. Expect players with fewer minutes this season to get looks as teams weigh their personnel options. United FC is 4-6-2 in the fall season, Fort Lauderdale 5-5-2.

United FC at a glance: Coach Manny Lagos wants to see his team play well in its home finale. United is 1-4-2 in Blaine after losing just once in five games at the Metrodome during the spring season. "We just never found our identity, particularly at home," Lagos said.

Fort Lauderdale at a glance: The Strikers enjoyed a six-goal outburst to defeat Atlanta last week. A victory at Minnesota would even the teams' four-game series this season. "Guys have a lot of confidence right now from the last game, and they want to end the season on a good note," Strikers coach Günter Kronsteiner said.
