Who wins on paper? Through six weeks, East Ridge leads the Suburban East Conference by averaging 402.8 yards per game on offense. The Raptors lead the conference in rushing (1,326 yards) and rank second in passing (1,091). Mounds View is fourth in total offense (294.8 yards per game). Defensively, the teams are a formidable combination. East Ridge (115.7 yards per game allowed) is No. 1, followed by the Mustangs (186.3).

Tougher competition tonight: Both East Ridge and Mounds View have feasted on several weaker opponents this fall. The combined record of their Minnesota opponents is 21-45. Mounds View lost at Menasha, Wis., last week.

Green to commit Wednesday: East Ridge junior Seth Green, listed by Rivals.com as the country's No. 8 dual-threat quarterback, plans to verbally commit Wednesday to Michigan State, Minnesota or Oregon. The ceremony begins at 7:45 a.m. in the cafeteria of East Ridge High School in Woodbury.
