Preview: The Bulls played the second part of back-to-back games Saturday after Friday's 114-108 overtime loss at home against Cleveland. Star guard Derrick Rose sprained his ankle late and did not return. … They opened their season Wednesday night by thumping the Knicks by 24 points at Madison Square Garden. …The Wolves split last season's two-game series by breaking a seven-game losing streak to the Bulls with a January victory in Chicago.

Players to watch: Yes, that's veteran forward Pau Gasol in a Bulls uniform and in the Eastern Conference after a career spent in the West with the Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Lakers. He signed as a free agent last summer and in Wednesday's opener became the third player in Bulls history to get 20 points and 10 rebounds in his first game. The only other two players who did that are Nate Thurmond and Artis Gilmore. Gasol had 21 points and 11 rebounds against the Knicks. …The Bulls have strengthened their bench by adding rookies Nikola Mirotic from Europe and Doug McDermott from Creighton.

Injuries: Wolves C Ronny Turiaf (hip soreness) has missed the season's first two games and is questionable. G Kevin Martin made his season debut in Thursday's home victory over Detroit after he missed Wednesday's opener at Memphis because of a twisted ankle. He is expected to play. Bulls G Jimmy Butler (thumb sprain) and Rose (sprained ankle) are both questionable.
