ROSEVILLE 15, CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 12

Roseville quarterback Jacques Perra threw two touchdown passes to Jesper Horsted, including a 17-yard fade late in the third quarter that gave his Raiders a 15-12 lead. The senior shook off a first-half knee injury and five sacks to complete 13 of 27 passes for 152 yards.

Key play: Cretin-Derham Hall had put together a 13-play drive and appeared headed to at least tie the score until Roseville's defense stopped Blake Banham 2 inches short of a first down on fourth-and-2 with 3:36 left to play.

Quote of the night: "We had a lot of players go down because of the heat, but we never gave up," Perra said.

One thing to know: It was Roseville's first victory over Cretin-Derham Hall since the Catholic power joined the Suburban East Conference in 2005.
