OFFENSIVE MVP

Devin Gardner, Michigan

When Denard Robinson was officially ruled out just before kickoff, Gardner proved to be a more than capable Plan B. The former QB -- playing receiver this year while stuck behind Robinson -- threw for 234 yards (on only 12 completions) and two touchdowns while running for another.

DEFENSIVE MVP

The sophomore linebacker was all over the field, finishing with nine tackles, including three for a loss. He was a major reason the Wolverines largely kept the Gophers' running game in check (3.4 yards per carry).
