Center fielder Alonzo Harris and catcher Tony Caldwell took the field Thursday night for the Saints' season opener at CHS Field in St. Paul. The Saints, coming off a 74-26 season, beat the Gary SouthShore RailCats 8-3 before an announced crowd of 8,286. Highlights included two suicide squeeze bunts in one inning and a two-run homer by new shortstop Mike Gilmartin. The Saints are home all weekend.
