Apple has a little device that might come in handy in the unstable economy that lies ahead. The iBreath, another clever accessory for the iPhone, turns Apple's device into a portable Breathalyzer-type gadget. Blow into a flip-out tube on the iBreath and voilà: It estimates your blood-alcohol concentration. The small device, which attaches to the iPhone's dock connector interface, may not be as accurate as the one the police use, but it's a good idea to hand over the keys if the iBreath says you're over the legal driving limit, or edging into headache territory.

Innergie has created a charger, the mCube90, that lets you charge many models of notebook computers -- including models from Acer, Asus, Compaq, Dell, Lenovo and Sony -- as well as any other device, such as an Apple iPod, that can be charged through a USB port. The 9.28-ounce mCube90 features a detachable auto-air module so you can use it on the road and on airplanes. In June, the company will release a version made to provide connected devices with no more than the necessary amount of energy.
