Greetings. Youngblood here, for the final time tonight.

So, T-Wolves fans, were you frustrated by what you saw Friday night? So were the Wolves.

Sounding as discouraged and defeated as they have all season, the players painted a picture of frustration after this one-sided loss to the Hornets.

Here is Kevin Love:  “I’d be lying to you if I said we weren’t,” Love said when asked if the team was discouraged.  “I mean, guys are trying to pick each other up. Every day we come in and play hard and work hard, because this is our job and this is what we have to do. But I’m getting a little discouraged. This is kind of turning into last year. I hate to say that.”

That, folks, is bad. Even the players are admitting it now. This Wolves team, which continues to turn the ball over and play stretches of zero  defense, feels like last year's Wolves team.

Michael Beasley, who also admitted frustration with his own shooting, described the team as discouraged.

It will be very interesting to see how this team plays down the stretch, whether it plays  hard or packs it in. it will say a lot about what the team needs to do during the off-season. The Wolves just lost their seventh straight, matching their longest losing streak of the season. four of those losses have been by more than 10 points.

Here are some other thoughts from the game

--Want a bright spot? Wes Johnson, forced to play 43 minutes on a night when the team was short on shooting guards (Ellington away for personal reasons, Webster hurt), made 10 of 19 shots, scored 22 points, had four assists and just one turnover). He has come out of the rookie game with renewed confidence.

--Luke Ridnour also scored 22 points and was one of the few Wolves players playing aggressively. He got to the line nine times, making eight.

--Jonny Flynn returned after his brief respite, but didn't play particularly well, getting zero points, one assist and three turnovers in 15-plus minutes.

--Darko Milicic continued his slow fade, scoring less than 10 points for the third straight game. He played  just 22:48 due to foul trouble and scored just five points.

That's about it for now. I'll get back to you after tomorrow's practice.
