Jake Sorenson allowed just two hits and struck out 11 batters as the Trojan pitcher went all seven innings to lead Wayzata over Coon Rapids Friday.

Northfield 4, Red Wing 3
The Raiders scored three runs in the top of the fourth inning and held on to beat their Missota Conference rival Friday in Red Wing. The Wingers took a 3-1 lead in the second inning before the Raiders took the lead for good in the fourth. Mitchell Bornhauser went 2-for-3 with a run scored for Northfield. Chris Antoine pitched all seven innings, struck out four batters and gave up just four hits.

St. Anthony Village 5, Cambridge-Isanti 3
Zach Siggelkow threw a complete game, striking out 11 batters in the process as the Huskies topped the Blue Jackets Friday in St. Anthony. The Huskies scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to claim the lead for good. David Deiman went 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs scored to lead the Huskies. Chris Schieffer and Noah Bluth each added two hits for St. Anthony (8-0).

Providence Academy 7, Breck 4
Junior Joseph Baird was 3-for-3 with a run scored as the visiting Lions held off the Mustangs. Providence Academy scored two insurance runs in the top of the seventh and held Breck scoreless in the last frame to claim the victory. Ramsey Sorrells went 3-for-4 with one RBI for the Mustangs.
Softball

Burnsville 9, Bl. Kennedy 5
A six-run, second inning was enough for the Blaze as Burnsville knocked off South Suburban opponent Kennedy Friday at home. Outfielder Alyssa Wroblewski went 3-for-4 with two runs and a RBI, while Freshman Angela Wollmuth also went 3-for-4 at the plate, drove in two runs and scored once to lead Burnsville.

Cretin-Derham Hall 3, Woodbury 2
The Raiders scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to upset the Royals Friday in St. Paul. Dana Connelly went 2-for-3 and scored two runs for the Raiders.
Girls lacrosse

Benilde-St. Margaret's 9, Armstrong 6
The Red Knights scored six second-half goals to overcome a one-point halftime deficit to beat the Falcons Friday at Benilde-St. Margaret's. Kelly Pannek led the Red Knights with three goals. Teammates Sophie Roux, Ali Praus and Abby Sauer each notched two goals. Miranda Kaelberer led visiting Armstrong with two goals.
