Freshman forward Evan Barratt scored two goals as 13th-ranked Penn State beat No. 6 Ohio State 5-2 in Big Ten hockey Friday to extend its unbeaten streak to 11 games — two shy of the program history.

Mason Jobst scored two power-play goals for the Buckeyes, who had won their last six games.

Ohio State came into this series with the nation's best penalty kill (92 percent), but Penn State was 2-for-3 on the power play.

Barratt's first goal, the eventual winner, came on a power play and put the Nittany Lions ahead 3-1 at 7:46 of the second.

Michigan State 2, No. 18 Wisconsin 0: Mitch Lewandowski's power-play goal with 11 seconds left in the second period turned out to be the eventual winner in the Spartans in the road victory. Cody Milan added an empty-netter with 1:06 left in the third period. John Lethemon made 30 saves for the shutout. Badgers goalie Kyle Hayton stopped 19 shots. Lewandowski's goal was his 12th this season.

No. 12 Western Michigan 7, No. 2 St. Cloud State 5: After falling behind 3-1 in the opening period, the visiting Broncos took a 5-3 lead in the second period and held on to beat the Huskies. Robby Jackson had two goals for SCSU, as did Lawton Courtnall and Hugh McGing for WMU.

No. 7 North Dakota 5, Bemidji State 1: Nick Jones and Austin Poganski each scored two goals as the Fighting Hawks beat the host Beavers. Trevor Olson had the fifth UND goal on an empty-netter in the third. Kyle Bauman had Bemidji State's lone goal, tying the score 1-1 in the middle of the opening period. Cam Johnson made 20 saves for UND, Michael Bitzer 21 for the Beavers.

No. 15 Minnesota Duluth 6, Colorado College 5: Peter Krieger and Riley Tufte each had two goals and two assists as the Bulldogs edged the host Tigers. Scott Perunovich had three assists for UMD.
