Johnny Simonson scored with 2 minutes, 31 seconds left to give third-ranked North Dakota a 5-4 victory over No. 1 Denver on the Pioneers' home ice.

UND trailed 3-2 after two periods, but Colton Poolman and Christian Wolanin, on a power play, scored in the first six minutes of the final period to put the visitors ahead. Troy Terry of Denver, which led 3-0 early in the second period, tied the score at 4-all on a power-play goal at 11:26 of the third.

Minnesota Duluth 3, Miami (Ohio) 1: Jared Thomas scored a power-play goal for the No. 14 Bulldogs at 14:51 of the third period to break a 1-all tie with the host RedHawks. Teammate Scott Perunovich added an insurance goal 1:16 later.

St. Cloud State 6, Colorado College 1: The Huskies scored on three of their first 10 shots, which prompted the host Tigers to switch goalies.

Wisconsin 7, Michigan 3: Seven different players scored as the ninth-ranked Badgers routed the No. 17 Wolverines in Madison, Wis.

Notre Dame 4, RPI 1: Jake Evans and Cal Burke scored 47 seconds apart in the middle of the opening period to lead the No. 4 Irish over the host Engineers.

Michigan State 3, Ferris State 2 (OT): Taro Hirose's goal at 3:47 of the extra period gave the Spartans the win over the visiting Bulldogs. Mitchell Lewandowski had two goals for Michigan State in the second period.

MSU Mankato 6, Bowling Green 1: Defenseman Ian Scheid had two goals and center Jake Jaremko had a goal and two assists as the No. 5 Mavericks routed the visiting Falcons.
