• MINNESOTA DULUTH 4, ST. CLOUD STATE 1: Karson Kuhlman had two goals and one assist and Kasimir Kaskisuo made 49 saves as the Bulldogs (12-14-5, 8-10-3 NCHC) upset the No. 3 Huskies (25-7-1, 15-5-1) in St. Cloud. UMD took a 3-0 lead in the opening period. Adam Johnson scored at 39 seconds. Brenden Kotyk got the next goal in the 17th minute and Kuhlman got his first on a power play with 1:53 in the period.

• NORTH DAKOTA 4, OMAHA 2: Drake Caggiula's goal at 53 seconds of the third period for the No. 4 Fighting Hawks (25-5-3, 16-4-1-1 NCHC) was the game-winner against the No. 13 Mavericks (18-12-1, 8-12-1). It gave North Dakota a 3-1 lead over Omaha. Tucker Poolman had one goal and one assist for UND as did Jake Guentzel for UNO. Both goalies, Cam Johnson for the visitors and Alex Blankenburg for the home team, had 20 saves.

BIG TEN

• WISCONSIN 4, OHIO STATE 4 (OT, tie): Nick Schilkey scored with 48 seconds left in the third period to tie the score for Buckeyes (9-17-3, 4-8-3-1 Big Ten) against the visiting Badgers. Although the game will be officially considered a tie, Wisconsin (6-15-8, 1-10-4-2) won the shootout that followed the scoreless overtime for an extra point in the conference standings. Matthew Freytag got the lone goal of the shootout in the sixth round. Schilkey had two goals for Ohio State, the first coming 1:30 into the game, giving him 16 this season.

WCHA

• BEMIDJI STATE 1, ALABAMA HUNTSVILLE 1 (OT, tie): The Beavers (14-13-6, 9-11-5 WCHA) outshot the Chargers 37-22 but only got a tie at home. Cory Ward scored in the eight minute of the third period for Bemidji State, and Michael Bitzer made 21 saves.
