• DENVER 4, NORTH DAKOTA 1: Quentin Shore's power-play goal in the middle of the second period gave the No. 11 Pioneers (10-4, 4-2 NCHC) a 2-0 lead over No. 1 UND (12-4-2, 5-3-1) in Denver, and that proved to be enough. Bryn Chyzyk scored for North Dakota.

• MINNESOTA DULUTH 3, MICHIGAN TECH 1: Dominic Toninato scored twice as the No. 9 Bulldogs (12-5) edged the No. 4 Huskies (12-3) in Houghton, Mich.

• OMAHA 3, ST. CLOUD STATE 2: Austin Ortega's power-play goal in the seventh minute of the third period for the No. 12 Mavericks (9-4-2, 5-3-1 NCHC) broke a 2-2 tie. Ryan Massa stopped 47 shots for Omaha. The Huskies (6-8-1, 2-4-1) got goals from Blake Winiecki and Jonny Brodzinski.

• U-18 U.S. TEAM 4, WISCONSIN 1: Auston Matthews had two of the U.S. team's four goals in the third period in an exhibition win over the Badgers at the Kohl Center.

• MSU MANKATO 5, PRINCETON 0: Bryce Gervais and Zach Palmquist scored in the last four minutes of the opening period to lead the No. 3 Mavericks (13-4) over the visiting Tigers (2-10-1).

• BEMIDJI STATE 4, NORTHERN MICHIGAN 2: Philip Brewer's goal with 3:56 left was the winner for the Beavers (5-10-2, 3-6-2 WCHA). It put Bemidji State ahead 3-1.
