• NORTH DAKOTA 4, MINNESOTA DULUTH 2: Jordan Schmaltz scored on the power play at 10 minutes, 5 seconds of the third period as host North Dakota beat the Bulldogs on Friday in Grand Forks, N.D. UND (4-4-1, 3-4 NCHC) led 2-0 before UMD (4-4-1, 1-2) tied it with goals 20 seconds apart in the third period. UND's Clarke Saunders made 34 saves.

• BEMIDJI STATE 4, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 1: Ruslan Pedan scored unassisted in the second period to help the host Beavers (4-6-1, 4-3 WCHA) beat the Seawolves (5-4, 2-3).

• ST. CLOUD STATE 10, ALABAMA-HUNTSVILLE 1: Jonny Brodzinski had two goals and an assist and the Huskies (7-1-1) dominated the host Chargers (0-9).

• OHIO STATE 3, CANISIUS 0: Logan Davis made 20 saves to earn a shutout in his first career start and the Buckeyes (7-4) beat the Golden Griffins (2-6) in Columbus, Ohio. Ohio State saw regular goalie Matt Tomkins get injured last weekend and backup Collin Olson of Apple Valley leave the team earlier this month. In their place, the Buckeyes added two goalies, including Aaron Gretz, a catcher on the Buckeyes baseball team. Gretz was a four-year goalie at Apple Valley High School.

• MIAMI (OHIO) 2, WISCONSIN 0: Ryan McKay made 30 saves as the host RedHawks (7-3-1), No. 8 in the United States College Hockey Online poll, beat the No. 12 Badgers (3-3-1) in Oxford, Ohio. Miami ended Nic Kerdiles' 18-game point-scoring streak for Wisconsin.

• NEBRASKA OMAHA 3, MICHIGAN 2: Josh Archibald scored his ninth goal of the season to put the host Mavericks (6-5) ahead for good against the Wolverines (6-2-1).

• UMASS-LOWELL 3, PENN STATE 2: The River Hawks (8-4) scored three first-period goals and held on against the host Nittany Lions (3-5-1).
