The U.S. Senate rejected President Obama's $447 billion jobs plan Tuesday night, but both Minnesota Democrats Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken sided with the administration in the narrow 51-48 decision (with 60 votes needed to move the bill along). Franken registered his "disappointment." Klobuchar released no public statement on the vote, which saw two Democrats from conservative states side with a unified GOP opposition.
