Historic walking tour

Lace up your walking shoes for a milelong tour of the Old Highland neighborhood in north Minneapolis. Developed at the turn of the century, the neighborhood is known for its restored Queen Anne homes. 10 a.m. Aug. 5. Cost: $10. To register go to dev.preserve minneapolis.org.

Frank Lloyd Wright tour

Want an inside look at a Frank Lloyd Wright home in St. Louis Park? The Minnesota chapter of Docomomo is offering an exclusive tour of Parklands, one of Wright's last projects. The tour is for members only, but the public is invited to join Docomomo for the tour. In addition to the tour, visitors will have a meet and greet with an original owner and architectural historians. 4 to 5 or 5 to 6 p.m. Aug. 3. Cost: $75 to become a member.
