Writer and social commentator Fran Lebowitz brings her satirical brand of humor to Minneapolis in a just-announced live appearance at the Pantages on Oct. 14. Lebowitz will speak, take questions and sign books.

Lebowitz is known for her books (including "Social Studies" and "Metropolitan LIfe"), public appearances and a recurring role on TV as a judge on "Law and Order." Martin Scorsese directed a documentary about her, "Public Speaking," that aired on HBO in 2010. Trailer below.
