Former Vikings defensive line coach Brendan Daly has landed a coaching position with the Patriots.

Daly will join head coach Bill Belichick’s staff as a defensive assistant coach after spending the last five seasons with the Vikings and Rams as a defensive line coach. It was Daly’s second stint with the Vikings, the first from 2006-08 as a defensive assistant.
