Former state Rep. Laura Brod, a new member of the University of Minnesota's board of regents, will be working with Lockridge Grindal Nauen as a Senior Strategic Advisor, Lockridge announced Monday.

Brod, who had been eyed for higher office, will work in Washington, DC and Minnesota, will work to attract new clients and serve the firm's current clients. The firm called the relationship a "consulting alliance" and said she will not do any lobbying for the firm.
