Tom Lindner
A popular Twin Cities news director is heading north.
Tom Lindner, who ran the KARE-11 newsroom from 1996 to April 2011, posted on his Facebook page that starting Sept. 14, he will become interim news director at KTUU in Anchorage.
Lindner was let go by KARE as management was looking for a change. Lindner has 35 years in the business, including stints at WCCO and KTCA. Perhaps most importantly, he has experience with cold weather.
