Minnesotans are gathering in hordes for this "Pokémon Go" thing. In case you've been living under a rock the past few days, yes, this is a thing.

We've been told that the game is a hacker's dream, it can lead to being robbed and even coming across a dead body. Police departments in Shakopee and Crystal, are urging people to play responsibly. In Willmar, police have received reports of suspicious people hanging out in strangers' backyards. Turns out these suspects are just really into the game and forgot about that whole trespassing law.

Other consequences — though far less worrisome and less illegal — are cropping up, too, bringing to light a few things to keep in mind for everyone delving into the game.

1. The game is causing relationship problems. A woman on Twitter complained that her boyfriend was over an hour late because he stopped at a park to play "Pokémon Go." Another woman Tweeted that her boyfriend was contemplating breaking into the neighbor's house to catch Pokémon .

2. Don't hunt for Pokémon while your wife is having your baby. Jonathan Theriot from Texas caused a stir online when he admitted — and posted a photo for proof — that he was catching Pokémon as his wife prepared to deliver their child.

3. Whoever decided that the Holocaust Museum should be a "Pokémon Go" gym is very ... bold. A museum spokesperson said: "Playing ['Pokémon Go'] is not appropriate in the museum, which is a memorial to the victims of Nazism." We think that's reasonable.

4. Another unintended consequence of the game (we're going to put this one in the positive consequences file) is sore legs. Because players have to actually move while playing, they are feeling the horrors of physical activity.

5. Despite the physical pain inflicted by the game, others are lauding "Pokémon Go" for enticing them to be active and boosting their mental health. That's a win.
