In downtown Minneapolis over the noon hour Thursday? Swing by the new headquarters of the Star Tribune and meet restaurant critic Rick Nelson, Taste editor Lee Svitak Dean and chefs Carrie Summer of Chef Shack and Gavin Kaysen of Spoon and Stable, who will be chatting about restaurants and the role of the critic in the first of our occasional Taste gatherings.

And you can't leave empty-handed. Pick up your own Rick-on-a-stick mask and enter our contest to win a dinner for two with Rick by snapping your photo — with the mask, of course — in a dining location of your choice. Post it on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #rickonastick. The winning photo will be chosen June 29. (Food industry employees are ineligible.)
