A father turned himself in to Blaine police Friday after allegedly shooting his son to death.
The 61-year-old man called police about 7 a.m. Friday, saying he had "just shot" his 38-year-old son. When police arrived at the home in the 3200 block of 89th Curve NE., the father was cooperative, authorities said. The son was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the father or son.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is assisting with the investigation, and the Anoka County attorney will review the case for possible charges.
No other details were immediately available.
