BREWSTER, Minn. — Authorities have identified a woman who was shot to death as she slept in her home in the small southwestern Minnesota town of Brewster.
She was 40-year-old Janette Krista Pigman-Kruse.
The Worthington Daily Globe reports (http://bit.ly/1J9Q6C1 ) the Ramsey County medical examiner says Pigman-Kruse died as a result of homicide from a gunshot.
The Nobles County Sheriff's Department says the woman's husband called 911 shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday to say someone had entered their home in Brewster and shot his wife while they slept. No one has been arrested.
