Cliché e-store

Supporting local fashion just got easier. This week, beloved Uptown shop Cliché opened its e-store. And true to form, shop.clichempls.com features the best of the best in local design. Offerings include fall 2010 and new spring collections from Amanda Christine and kjurek couture, plus leather handbags by Niki English. Though the current selection is a little light, it's a safe bet they'll stock up as new designer collections come in.

Designer outlet MODE hosts the grand opening of its permanent space this weekend. The Fargo-based store opened its first Minnesota location in Maple Grove last fall, and quickly became known as the "home of the $40 designer jean" thanks to its well-stocked selection of Serfontaine and Kasil denim. If you think that's a deal, the store is celebrating its new Maple Grove location with a special offer: Thursday through Saturday, the first 40 customers each day get a free pair of jeans.
