Arafina adds local design
Designer boutique Arafina will carry lines by local designers for the first time. George Moskal has been a fixture on the local fashion scene since premiering on the Voltage runway in 2007, and most recently showed a stellar spring collection in April. Kansas City transplant Terri Martin is a newcomer to Minneapolis, having made her local debut at Voltage 2011 with a sophisticated collection of draped knitwear composed of circular patterns. Man-centric shop martinpatrick3 isn't known for having many sales, so when they do markdowns, it's cause for attention. Their finely edited selection of gifts, accessories and other accoutrements recall a classic, Old World craftsmanship while maintaining a modern sensibility -- and since their move to an expanded space, they've upped their clothing and shoe offerings.
