MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Brewers fans are expressing disappointment, sadness and disgust that MVP Ryan Braun has been suspended for violating baseball's drug program.

Dave Simono, of New Berlin (BER'-lin), says he believed Braun was telling the truth when he denied taking performance-enhancing drugs last year. Simono says now he just feels disgusted.

The Brewers slugger accepted a 65-game suspension Monday after dodging a penalty last year when an arbitrator overturned his positive drug test.

Jeff Fischbach was driving to Miller Park Monday night in his Ryan Braun T-shirt when he heard the news. He called his friend and asked him to bring duct tape to the ballpark. The Journal Sentinel (http://bit.ly/12I7Sp8 ) says Fischbach used the tape to mark an "X" over Braun's number on his T-shirt, tape over all-star's name and write "Liar" on the tape.
