MANITOWOC, Wis. — The former mayor of Sheboygan will pay a fine and have his driver's license revoked after reaching a plea agreement in his drunken driving case.

According to a recent court order, Bob Ryan pleaded guilty to operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration. A separate charge of operating while under the influence was dismissed.

A Sheboygan Press Media report (http://shebpr.es/14sS1y2 ) says as part of the plea agreement, Ryan was fined $801 and his license was revoked for eight months.

The 49-year-old ex-mayor was arrested and ticketed March 3 for alleged first-offense drunken driving in the City of Kiel (keel).

Authorities say Ryan was taken to a Manitowoc hospital for a blood draw following his arrest and was found to have an alcohol level more than three times the legal limit.
