Former Vikings safety Darren Sharper, who underwent knee surgery this offseason, finally will make a free-agent visit Wednesday when he meets with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN.

ESPN also reports that Dallas could be interested in Sharper, who played his first eight seasons in Green Bay before signing with the Vikings as a free agent. Sharper spent four seasons with the Vikings before hitting free agency again and joining the Saints in 2009.

Sharper's move to New Orleans was the right one as he had nine interceptions to tie his career high. He will turn 35 in November and is expected to be ready for the start of the season. According to the story on ESPN.com, Sharper is hoping to return to the Saints but is keeping his options open.
