FRIDAY

Wrestlepalooza V

Pro wrestling goes rock 'n' roll with Wrestlepalooza, a mashup of wrestling, burlesque and metal. The annual bash put on by Pabst Blue Ribbon and Minneapolis pro wrestling group F1RST Wrestling will feature a character-driven posse of masked grapplers schooled in the "lucha libre" style of fighting — think high-flying moves, rope jumping and complicated maneuvers executed in rapid succession. Between-match entertainment includes local burlesque performers Queenie Von Curves and Musette the Mistress of Mischief, plus local band Metallagher, which combines Gallagher-style comedic hijinks with '80s-era Metallica covers. It's a can't-lose night for fans of wrestling, metal and burlesque. (7 p.m. Fri. $20. 18 & older. First Avenue, 701 1st Av. N., Mpls. www.first-avenue.com. Jahna Peloquin
