DFL candidate for governor Matt Entenza will have lots of cash to push into the final week before the primary.

According to a report filed with the state campaign campaign board late Friday, Entenza poured $620,000 into his campaign.

This is the second time since July 19th that Entenza, who has trailed DFLers Mark Dayton and Margaret Anderson Kelliher in recent polls, has infused his campaign with cash. He also wrote a check for $450,000 to his campaign on July 22.

The $1 million cash infusion is on top of the nearly $3.6 million Entenza reported spending on his campaign in a report last week.

Asked last week if he could be accused of trying to buy his way into the governor's office, Entenza said, "I don't know who would say that....No one has said it to me."
