Republican candidate for governor Tom Emmer reported Monday that he has raised $2.8 million in campaign contributions, about two-thirds of it in the last three months.

The fundraising total includes over $2 million from individual contributors in 2010, the campaign reported. The campaign said it collected $2.7 million in 2010 and $114,802 in 2009, and has $461,152 cash on hand. The gubernatorial campaigns were required to file reports Monday with the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board, which will officially release them Tuesday. Emmer's campaign made a summary of its report available Monday afternoon, but DFL candidate for governor Mark Dayton and Independence candidate Tom Horner did not released their reports.
