Elijah Wood could be considered the Lord of the Fantasy Genre. Even though the role of Frodo Baggins is almost behind him (he'll do a cameo in the upcoming adaptation of "The Hobbit"), he still keeps an eye on adventure films that followed the "Lord of the Rings" path. The star of FX's quirky new comedy "Wilfred" (which premieres Thursday) talks about two favorite fantasy flicks.

"I liked the first 'Narnia' film, in part because it was filmed in New Zealand, like 'Rings,' and had a lot of the same special effects guys. I also loved 'Avatar.' A lot of people complained about the simplicity of it. I understand that, but the story has been told a million times before because it's got a classic construct. James Cameron did a fantastic job."
