... Brennan Poole won the ARCA race at MIS, holding off pole-sitter Ryan Blaney by 0.567 seconds. Poole led for only the last dozen laps of the 200-mile, 100-lap race in his No. 15 Toyota. Frank Kimmel finished third to remain a victory shy of matching Iggy Katona's series record of 79 career victories. Poole qualified second behind Blaney.

Former Lynx star Katie Smith passed Lisa Leslie for second place on the league's career scoring list in New York's 78-58 victory over Connecticut. She finished the game with 10 points, giving her 6,272 in her WNBA career — nine more than Leslie. She's still nearly 800 points behind all-time leader Tina Thompson, who announced she plans to retire at the end of this season. ... Angel McCoughtry scored 23 points and Jasmine Thomas added 13 to lead Atlanta over Seattle 68-59.

NBA: Investigators began examining a twisted pile of concrete, metal and wood on to determine why a waterfront deck at a popular sports bar collapsed into shallow Biscayne Bay, injuring two dozen people gathered to cheer Miami in the NBA Finals. Miami-Dade Fire Chief David Downey said 24 people were taken to hospitals. Many had cuts and bruises, though one person suffered a fracture. Only one person remained hospitalized with unknown injuries.
