Assist family. A parent walked into the Centennial Lakes Police Department, 54 North Road, and reported that her 8-year-old son was refusing to wear his seat belt. An officer spoke to the mother and her son in the parking lot, but the boy continued to refuse and resisted the officer. Officers removed the boy from the vehicle, placed him in a squad car and drove him home.

JAN. 29

Theft. Tires were stolen from a vehicle in the 20200 block of NE. Polk Street.

FRIDLEY

JAN. 28

Theft. A 34-year-old man reported that he met a woman at a bar and brought her back to his room at the LivINN Hotel, 5201 Central Av. NE. He said they were both heavily intoxicated and fell asleep. When he woke up, the woman and his money were gone.

JAN. 29

Domestic dispute. Officers responded to a domestic call at a home in the 5700 block of East River Road NE. A 46-year-old man reported that his 29-year-old roommate had eaten his food. The two agreed to separate for the night.

FEB. 2

Weapon. Officers responded to Unity Hospital, 550 Osborne Road NE., after security officers detained a 24-year-old man for possession of a firearm and smoking marijuana.

MAPLEWOOD

FEB. 1

Possession of drug paraphernalia. A 27-year-old man in the 1700 block of Jackson Street was cited for possession of hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia, and taken to Regions Hospital.

MARINE ON ST. CROIX

FEB. 3

Theft report. A resident in the 800 block of Pine Cone Trail who had just returned from a trip reported that a suitcase had been stolen from their porch. It was later determined that the suitcase was left at the airport.

MOUNDS VIEW

FEB. 4

Burglary. Towel holders and cabinet knobs were stolen from a home in the 7600 block of Edgewood Drive.

FEB. 5

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 2200 block of Hillview Road. A partly clothed 20-year-old man was arrested for indecent exposure, possession of a weapon, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

NEW BRIGHTON

JAN. 31

DWI. A man was arrested for drunken driving after police responded to a report of a driver asleep inside a parked vehicle that was running in the 300 block of Silver Lake Road.

RAMSEY

JAN. 10

Disturbing the peace. Officers were called to mediate a dispute between neighbors over a shared driveway in the 13800 block of Ironstone Trail NW.

JAN. 12

Drunken driving. A 47-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after her vehicle was found stuck in a snowbank in the 6400 block of Alpine Drive NW.

WOODBURY

JAN. 29

Suspicious activity. A teenager was reported making obscene gestures at people who refused to give him a ride in front of a business near Currell Boulevard and Queens Drive. Police were unable to locate the juvenile.

JAN. 30

Suspicious item. A possible credit card skimmer device was found attached to a gas pump at a station in the 1500 block of Weir Drive.
