Eagan woman dies of injuries from collision

Authorities on Saturday released the name of a 62-year-old Eagan woman fatally injured in a head-on crash Christmas Day. Janet L. Scoblic died Thursday afternoon of injuries suffered when the car she was driving crossed the center line on Hwy. 59/County Road 7, just south of Watson, Minn. She struck a vehicle driven by Levi Windingstad, 26, of Morris, Minn.

Scoblic was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where she died Thursday, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner. Windingstad and his passenger, David Windingstad, 55, also of Morris, both suffered noncritical injuries.
