Vikings middle linebacker E.J. Henderson is missing his second consecutive practice because of a knee injury. Coach Leslie Frazier will give an update on Henderson's status for Sunday's game after practice.

During the small portion of practice that's open to the media, Erin Henderson, the starting weak-side linebacker, was working at middle linebacker. Special teamer Kenny Onatolu was working at weak-side linebacker. E.J. Henderson was not on the field.

Frazier said Thursday that E.J. Henderson woke up with soreness and swelling in his knee Thursday morning. He practiced Wednesday with no complications, Frazier said.

Another option at middle linebacker is Xavier Adibi, who was claimed off waivers from the Texans on Sept. 4.
