WHITEHALL, Wis. — A driver's education instructor has been cited for drunken driving in Whitehall.
Authorities say the woman was driving the student car when she was spotted weaving and crossing the center line on a street in Whitehall Sunday about 8 a.m. A police report says the woman pulled into a Kwik Trip parking lot where she met four driving students.
An officer approached her and asked if she had been drinking. The woman told the officer she had taken medication that morning and that was the reason for her driving behavior. WKBT-TV (http://bit.ly/1eR7bTp ) says the officer performed a field sobriety test and arrested the driver on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
